Had to sit down for a minute in air conditioning.. Too frickin’ hot… already… Overslept, so is really hot already. Sera and the baby are resting… Oh… yeah, forgot to say, the damn baby is preggers, too!!! OMG.

Very crappy/sad weekend. As I posted, we lost all of Fionna’s puppies. I blame myself. We need to figure out different ways to determine due dates.
Onward, sadly..
Bill is busily (in 90+ temps!) building our kennel! Our well has been dug. It is 650 feet deep!!!! Wow!!! Apparently this isn’t unusual. Bill tells me, we will be using storage tanks…. I wonder what water will taste like, and how cold it will be?? I imagine, VERY chilly!!! Yay!! Love cold H2O!!!
The basement is dug for the house, and the kennel and the buildings/garage/home/kennel is staked out. My dad is with Bill every day.. (also named Bill!), so.. my 2 Bills are together. My dad is going to be 80 in a couple of months, so Bill watches him like a hawk. Just to make sure he doesn’t overdo in the heat. My dad tells me he is the “gofer”… Which… is good. He can be in air conditioning while driving back and forth to the site….
Trying to figure out if we will be in NC for Sera’s delivery, or not… Calling vets recommended by Starr Melton!!! Thanks, Starr!!!

Wow!! We have bred 2 of our girls, as outcrosses, Fionna to Odus of Iron N’ Stone, and Sera to Primo, Denis Dafnis, MD, and Gonnie Schaffer’s incredible young male!!!!
Puppies will be due 1st week of July… Possibly a few available….
